Why baseball uniforms for a professional baseball team as interim good?
One question in my task macro ECON reads as follows: 6. Which of the following is an intermediate good? A) the purchase of gasoline for a ski trip in Colorado. B) buying baseball uniforms for a team professional baseball. c) the purchase of a pizza by a college student. D) the purchase of running shoes for a teacher's answer is "C". but why Why? That baseball is not considered a final uniform? Please help. Thank you.
I add the reply Kyle. The answer is B. If uniforms are sold to fans, then the end product and included in GDP. However, as professional baseball players use uniforms as a feedstock in the provision of a party for viewers, then the cost of uniforms is already included in the ticket price and not included in GDP.
